Carrying a passport should not be a requirement

Dear Editor,
I don't have much to say today; only that it would be my wish that, under the (new) immigration rules being touted in recent times requiring all non-Bahamians to have passports with a residency stamp in them, the rules do not also dictate that these persons should have their passports on them at all times, especially children.
